My name is Henry Cash Russell Jr, and yes, Cash is really my middle name. I’m a Senior Loan Officer and I lead the Cash Team at New American Funding. I have over 23 years in the mortgage industry ranging from Sales, Underwriting, Training, Audit and Compliance. I attended University of Phoenix and majored in Business Administration. Source: This dataset combines data from Public Records and MLS transactions. The data lists the number of all-cash purchases and the total number of home purchases nationwide in 2023. (Cash purchase defined when a Property Sold record does not have a Mortgage Balance.) Data coverage is limited by available MLS coverage. Certain geographies like Georgia (especially Central GA) and Vermont were impacted by this data availability. Land sales and manufactured (MFR) home sales are excluded from the dataset.
